The body of this pipe is meant for a Nectar Collector, and this is why the percolator or colored glass with slits is positioned the way it is. Instead of adding and oil burner bowl with correct angeled stem, they just slapped it on to the end of this and called it a day. Don;t buy this. It's incorrect on so many levels. Worst pipe ever.

The slits and other features are part of the design aesthetic, rather than being functional for water filtration. For water-based use, we recommend our “oil bubbler” series, which is specifically designed with water filtration in mind. The designed is flawed. Suppose to be able to use with water but the water gets into bowl and that leaves a stinky bowl smelling messing with my air quality

I love the way this pipe looks, but in use it's not so great. Firstly, it is very hard to load as the opening is very small. But more pressing, it clogs very easily and is hard to clean. You literally have to clean it after every smoke session and even then sometimes I don't even get through a full smoke session without it clogging first. It's impossible to reclaim anything, and, well, cleaning it is just a nightmare.
